Spore is classics but I never bothered with it for some reason.

I played it when I was a kid - I hadn't followed the hype cycle that led up to its release, so I had no expectations to be disappointed from. I was totally hooked by it, even the space stage. poured many, many hours into it. galactic adventures was cool too

Maybe I should try it sometime too. Got hooked on another game right now though. I think I played the cell stage, but never much after surfacing.
