I don't know anything about types of moths tbh but I've always felt they're treated unfairly.
Everyone LOVES butterflies but moths are supposed to be gross because they have a subdued color palette? Get real.
The moth is like the goth butterfly and its aesthetics easily trump the butterfly's mass appeal.

A moth appeared in my apartment just minutes ago, and because of this thread I went through the considerable effort of capturing it alive (twice!) so I could release it back outside. Little guy didn't want to leave the jar.
