my new chinese phone is like 1week old and already falling apart
crashing
blackscreen locked up
apps not opening
the launcher itself crashing so i could only use an app if it gave a notification

but worst of all. it deleted my marzichan homescreen shortcut...(post was edited for rule 4)

Yeah poco phones are atrocity. Using a samsung after a poco feels like heaven

the samsung a36 & 56 both look really nice
36s iridescence is nicer, but weaker specs..
the nothing 3a/pro also looks cool but apparently weak too

i was sick of lag so i chose one thats sort of decent specs but not overpriced from ai features. but getting punished with the horrid OS now

What do you mean, exactly? One UI seems fine to me. No built in ads like the poco nightmare. Also got some neat features but mostly I use my phone to doomscroll, so I don't use much of that. Also, poco and other chinese phones have a way of clogging memory as if sinking it into void. Haven't observed any such thing with my Samsung yet. I guess I just accepted that phones aren't meant to be usable beyond the real life routines like messengers and banking apps, so I don't expect them to have any features I'd normally expect from my PC. Still, one UI feels really better in comparison to chinese products

comparing on gsmarena the samsungs are just weaker, the nicer color option is on the lower spec samsung too.

apparently the mediatek processors arent so good with custom roms vs snapdragons

i was going to get a pixel for that reason too, but the price:perf was even worse.
their next tensor is sposed to be better, but unreleased and pixel 10 price will be even more inflated by ai gimmicks im sure
