>>3089>For whatever reason it seems that the people who can't do ANY of writing, coding, composing, or drawing competently are most drawn to VNs.I think it's just an approachable genre, since the technical complexity is very low. if you have a story idea, and you can put together some basic 2D assets, you're able to make one. because of that, there are lots of small amateur releases. in another genre, their game probably would've never gotten off the ground due to design or tech complexity.
anyway, I don't think there's anything wrong with it. I'm glad people out there are making little VNs, even if they don't personally interest me. it makes me happy to see them realize their vision :)
