Since I said that I'd do one, here it is!

I tried to incorporate pixel art, witches, the moon, candy, a bilingual joke... Many of these things I'm predisposed to to include regardless.

Dunno if you ever played Ragnarok Online, but I hope it meshes well.

Higurashi and Umineko seems like they'd fit well with the site's culture, so I chose to insert Lambda because her design compliments the logo and board theme - then I added the "Eternal fun!" bit as an afterthought to make the banner feel less empty and tie everything together. I think the text synergizes with the chaos of the background and character, while being lifted by the website's funposting nature...
I think I have one more idea in the tank, but I don't want to promise anything if it turns out too bad for my taste.

It was simpler to accomplish than I thought. I created 2 versions and I'm unsure which one would be better to put on display, so I'll let you be the one to choose, Admin.

And here's the 2nd one.
The main inspiration of this came from a rave .gif I saw, except the characters dancing were four "Bury Nice" gremlins. The reason I picked this character instead was because I was heeding the advice of "Avoiding importing content or trends from other sites wholesale" and I just think she's a cute little guy. And of course, there's the added bonus of her being yellow.
In case you need it for the tooltip description, she's from a game titled "Anthology of the Killer". Also, if you feel this doesn't comply with how you envision Marzichan's culture, then feel free to reject it. This is mainly something I made on a whim.

good thinking! bury nice is fun and cute as well, but I think it's even more swell to pick out something different.
